- Our Story -

Thank you for your interest in our facility. Our business is built on 50-years of experience providing quality banquet hall and in-house catering for a diversified client base.  The James R. Mossie Banquet Hall at Black Rock is located in Oaks, PA, and continues to provide a meeting location for groups of 180 for receptions and formal dinner parties requiring a dance floor, and up to 200 people for fund raising events. Our event staff is experienced in planning and managing a variety of events to include but not limited to wedding receptions, anniversary and graduation parties, family reunions, business meetings, training events, and holiday gatherings.

Our Hall offers not only a pleasant location for a variety of social and business events, guests can decorate the Hall for their event within certain limitations that can be discussed with the Event Manager. The facilities air conditioning system   is professionally maintained and sufficient parking for over 110 vehicles is adjacent to the facility, a dance floor and space for DJ’s and their equipment is also available. WiFi is available for our guests. We are located within minutes of hotel accommodations as well.

Training and business meetings are also accommodated at our facility. We can setup the facility to support the type of training or meeting you desire. We have a large drop down screen and amplifier with microphone. We can set up our Hall classroom style with long tables and chairs, auditorium style with just chairs, or round robin style with round tables and chairs for small group discussions. We will work with you to personalize your layout.  We can cater the event or setup for outside catering or light snacks to support your event.
